In the morning of 6th September 2019, the Plaque-Unveiling Ceremony of the University of Nottingham Ningbo China (UNNC) - Ningbo Free Trade Zone (NFTZ) Blockchain Laboratory was successfully held during the World Digital Economy Conference 2019 in Ningbo. Attending this unveiling ceremony were Mr. Lu Zhimeng as the Deputy Director of Ningbo Free Trade Zone, Mr. Ying Rongyu as the Deputy Director of Finance Bureau in Ningbo Free Trade Zone, and Professor Xiuping Hua, Professor in Finance and Director of the Blockchain Laboratory from UNNC.

Professor Yifu Lin, founder of China Center for Economic Research in Peking University visited Blockchain laboratory also give suggestion about the present development situation and application of Blockchain.

Yan Jin, the deputy director of the organization department of Ningbo Municipal Party committee, executive deputy director of the Talent Office, visited the office of the Blockchain laboratory in Beilun Free Trade Zone.
